Sooo yes, I started writing this post a while a go, but they day ran away from me and I forgot all about it. Sorry!
It was not an important post or anything, just a day in the stable where we tried some new things. We aren’t very good at ground work. We have been lunging quite a lot, but not so much working from the ground with body language, bending, standing still, just basic stuff really. I don’t really know why I haven’t done it so much. One reason might be the fact that when we were training where he grew up, there was hardly any problems doing anything. He acted politely, never much excess energy or anything we had to deal with. The arena we used was so small it was probably easier for him just to be quiet in there.
Bosco has got quite a lot of hair in his mane, and if you want to look down to see what is going on between his right shoulder and down to his nose, you can’t. So every now and then I make a braid. It is not really nessecary when I’m only training in the arena, but I need some training before the show season starts 😉
Bosco does not like to get pampered, he is patient but looks like he wants to disappear through the floor. hihi
Sorry about the crappy quality of the photos, my iphone front camera isn’t the best!
I know I’m a few days late, but here it is! The Hobbit official trailer 😀
Far over the Misty Mountains cold,
To dungeons deep and caverns old,
The pines were roaring on the heights,
the winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread,
The trees like torches blazed with light.
Peter Jackson is good, he captured the exact same feeling as with the LotR movies, a year is too long 😦
First things first, who knows where that quote is from (the title)?
But yeah, I’m bored out of my mind. Why? you ask, well, on Tuesday I’ll have my math exam and I really don’t think its that much fun to sit inside calculating and recalculating. Continue reading “Bored Now.”→
2010 has been a fun year, I got my own horse, I have figured out what I want to do the next couple of years and my skills in both riding and instructing has reach new heights. Long ways to go yet, but hey, that’s the fun of it!
For you norwegian readers out there, here is a blog post where I summarize the year.
Happy New Year to all you bloggers out there! Hope it’ll be a good one 🙂
This weekend, Halloween is celebrated almost everywhere. Here in Norway people try to adapt the tradition, but most people skip a few important steps! If you are going rounds with “trick or treat” you are only going to stop by the houses who has got a lantern outside, not stopping by every house, craving candy or if the people living there doesn’t have any, ask for money? No thanks to that tradition! Continue reading “Halloween!”→
